Want to use the power of running to make a difference in the life of a girl? Join Girls on the Run SoleMates, our charity running program. We are a team of male and female athletes who pursue individual goals, such as running a marathon, to raise money for one of our 157 Girls on the Run councils in the United States and Canada.

Individuals can sign up to run/walk/bike in any event of their choice and participate in Girls on the Run SoleMates. Registration for SoleMates does not include registration to the actual race. The runner/walker must still register for the event of their choice independently. These are two separate registrations.

Girls on the Run International's support for our SoleMates athletes:

• Incentive prizes for participants reaching & exceeding fundraising minimum. The levels are:
  • $262
  • $500
  • $750
  • $1000 and Up
• Simple online fundraising through Active.com
• Potential for participation in "in person" group training runs (varies per city)
• Inspirational emails from Girls on the Run to keep you motivated
• Extra motivation of running for a reason – to change the lives of girls!
   

Girls on the Run SoleMates participants agree to pay a non-refundable $26 fee upon their registration. This amount will not be applied toward their minimum fundraising goal. By registering for our charity running program the participant agrees to raise a minimum of $262 for the Girls on the Run council of their choice on or before thirty (30) days after completing the race, or be personally responsible for this amount.

When you register, you need to select an event or type in the name of the race you wish to do if it is not listed on the dropdown. Although we focus on The Bank of America Chicago Marathon, we support you doing any event at any distance!

When you register, you will need to select a race from the selection posted or type in the name and date of your event if it is not listed in the dropdown. You will also be able to select the Girls on the Run council you wish to support.
